Listen, advise, rethink and project

Those four verbs are the key to the Masterplan.
Every time an equestrian project begins, the emotional load and the illusion that is put so that it takes shape as we imagine it is enormous. We spend hours and hours planning and devising every detail. We take note of some accessory or complement that we liked so much in that stable, we measure, we ask for an estimate, we measure again, we make calculations and we dream about the future achievements of our horses.
And in most cases, success comes.
They say that the most beautiful thing about a project is not the end result, but having enjoyed the creation process. In part we agree, but beware! We have come across situations in which the development of the work has eroded the promoter's spirits, even going so far as to paralyze the project to avoid torment.
Each project is unique, each piece of land has its particularities, each municipality its regulations, each client its guidelines and deadlines.
Due to our extensive experience, we always recommend that equestrian projects should be monitored from the beginning by people with knowledge of the horse world. I am even clearer, any architect or engineer, for many works that have been projected, if they do not know the day-to-day life of the horse, they can find some difficulty in rethinking the areas of the equestrian center, or even worse, the approach of some area is dangerous for the animal. – My respects to the office of architecture and engineering remain ahead -.
At Sotoancho Instalaciones Hípicas we are happy to help you. We have advised both clients and technical professionals who are preparing to work on an equestrian project.
Each project is unique, each piece of land has its particularities, each municipality its regulations, each client its guidelines and deadlines. We put all our knowledge from the first meeting.

It is important to make the most of the orography of the land, find the best orientation for each area such as access areas, stable areas, tracks, paddocks, service area, etc., therefore, for the general distribution plan of zones (Masterplan), we work together with Horses & Homes, a German architecture studio specialized in advising and planning equestrian facilities. To his credit, he has a multitude of equestrian centers around the world. In Spain we are lucky to have several designs made by this technical office.

Roger Alker, director of Horse & Homes, is an architect specialized in equestrian projects who has developed very important projects all over the world.
